The sun is the closest star to Earth, and gives most of the planets heat. In addition to that the sun is a ball of gas. Every planet orbits the sun with the orbital path. Without the sun we would all die because the sun gives us heat, light and grows food. The sun is 1.4 million km, that it could fit 109 Earths inside the suns surface, you could stuff more than a million Earths inside it. The suns surface is about 5,500 degrees celsius, the suns core is about 28 million degrees celsius. If you had all the water ever you will not be able to distinguish the sun, the sun would evapourate the water because of its heat . The sun is about 4.5 billion years old and was the first thing made. The has used about half of its hydrogen, and will burn the rest for about an another 5 billion years or so, then its helium would be its primary fuel. The sun would expand 100 times it size and would swallow all the planets, this is called the RED GIANT, this would happen in an another billion year. Then it would colaspe into a white dwarf about the size of the Earth.
The sun is one of the essential properties we need in order to live. It gives life, tools, power, food, and warmth. The sun is in the heart of our solar system. The planets orbit around the scorching sun, which is about 5504.85 degrees celcius, Giving some heat across the solar system to our planets.

SOMETIMES THE SUN EXPERIENCES SOLAR ACTIVITY, WHICH CAN BE SOLAR FLARES, SOLAR WIND AND SOLAR TSUNAMI. ONE IS A SOLAR FLARES. WE CAN DIE FROM ONE STRUCK OF A SOLAR FLARE. A FLARE RISES UP AND LIKE A WHIP IT STRIKES. SENDING ELECTRIC PARTICLES THROUGH SPACE TO EARTH EFFECTING THE NORTH POLE MAGNETIC FIELD. THAT SEND'S DISTURBANCE TO THE WORLD AND EFFECTS ELECTRIC SOURCES E.G PHONE LINE, HEAT, TOOLS, NEARLY EVERY THING THAT'S ELECTRICAL. IF ONE FLARE IS TOO BIG IT COULD REACH THE EARTH AND WIPE US OUT. THE BIGGEST AND GREATEST ONE OF ALL IS THE CME (CORONAL MASS EJECTION) IT IS MUCH BIGGER THEN THEN A SOLAR FLARE. ITS A TYPE OF SOLAR WIND. THE ENERGY IS SOME SORT OF LIGHT PLASMA ISOTOPE, WHICH CAN ASCEND INTO INTERSTELLAR SPACE, DURING THE PROCESS IT CONFLICTS WITH OTHER PLANETS MAGNETIC FIELD INCLUDING EARTH.
